Why do I do what I don’t want to do?

March 25, 2022

Have you ever found yourself doing the exact thing you don’t want to do—like gaining weight when trying to lose it? I’ve spent the last ten years trying to lose 20 pounds and gain 50 instead. Looking for your happily ever after?

“All the Other Voices” in book stores now.

This story is for you. The woman whose life is not what she had in mind. The one who feels trapped in her own world—in her own war. And, to those of you—who like me—have ever felt all alone when you’re not.

In my psychological romance novel, the main character is Marina James. She has a happily-ever-after plan for her life. To Marina, it is about consciously building an image—her personal brand—so that she can get what she wants in return from her life. But as Marina tries to balance the demands of work and family, silent voices plague her.

That is where the battle heightens and Marina deals with the past. Her integrity is questioned—her marriage, finances and promotion are threatened. Life gets more complicated when a generational curse interferes and circumstances force her to face the family secret.

Throughout her journey, Marina discovers nothing really changes in the battlefield of her mind and the pursuit of happily ever after. Nothing changes, that is, unless a woman understands the voice of Truth and the power she holds within.
